I am a geologist with a passion for all things volcano. I enjoy using interdisciplinary approaches to understanding everything I can about volcanoes and the impact they have on the communities that live alongside them. Consequently, I’ve been involved in projects which range from understanding the ways in which magma is stored prior to eruption, to analysing the interaction of intense rainfall with volcanic eruptions and understanding how knowledge of volcanic hazards can be used to reduce volcanic risk.
